Our Summit keynote speaker, Dr. Pamela E. Barnett, will provide an inspirational launch for our Inaugural Excellence in Teaching & Learning Summit. Dr. Barnett is a highly respected researcher and voice in the field of teaching excellence. Throughout her career, Dr. Barnett has been heavily immersed in the field of pedagogical excellence in higher education as evidenced by her successes as a professor and academic leader. Dr. Barnett currently serves as the Dean of Arts & Sciences at LaSalle University. Additionally, she is a fellow of the Best Teachers Institute. Dr. Barnett will establish a clear focus and tone for our day through her keynote address, How Good Teaching Can Change the World. 

Our Inaugural Summit will also provide opportunities for us to explore a wide range of powerful pedagogical strategies being implemented by colleagues throughout our own campus community. The Summit will offer attendees the opportunity to select from twenty different workshops being offered by colleagues representative of all seven TCNJ Schools and the R.B. Gitenstein Library. All of the workshops are designed to present insights into ways in which we might all continue to enhance the breadth and depth of teaching and learning experiences at TCNJ.
