What you’ll need for your proposal:

- Brief description of your session (100 words maximum)
- Justification (500 words maximum—why will this topic be useful to the TCNJ community of teacher-scholars?)

Scholarship of Teaching and Learning (SoTL) Research Sessions
Research sessions are scheduled in a 60-minute presentation block, with each presenter(s) allotted 20 minutes to share a SoTL project that is recently completed or in process. Proposals should describe the research question, methodology, results, and conclusions.
Showcase Sessions are scheduled in a 60-minute presentation block, with each presenter showcasing a pedagogical practice and offer guidance to participants on best practices for implementation.
Practice sessions are 60-minute hands-on workshops with a high level of interaction between participants and presenter(s). Proposals should describe how the audience will be engaged during the session.
Roundtable sessions allow for facilitator-led conversations around a question related to teaching and learning topics that are of interest to the campus community. Facilitators should prepare to lead a 30-minute session that includes a thought-provoking, open-ended question to get at and discuss the issues surrounding these topics. Participants will rotate tables every 30 minutes.
